Please join us on Sunday, January 30, from 2- 5 PM during our Open House. We’re celebrating our newly expanded space and the beginning of our 4th year of existence.

During the afternoon, you may participate in one or more of the three mini-yoga sessions. Each session will be 30 minutes long. If you’ve never tried yoga before and are curious, this is a great opportunity. Mini sessions will begin at 2:15 – 2:45 PM, 3:15 – 3:45 PM, and 4:15 – 4:45 PM. Please wear comfortable clothing.

Bring a friend, relative or family member who’s never been to the studio before and you will each receive two free yoga sessions. Refreshments will also be served.

We offer free yoga each Saturday at 12 Noon during the Community Yoga class.

Dear Northville Yoga Members and Friends,

Seva is that branch of yoga that asks for selfless service. We have graciously supported this effort with our Civic Concern donations this year. With Civic Concern now supporting 157 Northville families, the need is great and continuous. Here is another way we can help.

Last year, our studio held a YOGAthon to support “Have a Heart for Hunger.” This fundraiser helps support a wonderful organization, “Kids Against Hunger,” that brings Northville and Detroit school students together eight times per year to pack meals for the world’s hungry.

Time does not allow us to hold another YOGAthon this year. But we encourage our members to attend a delicious soup supper, on November 20, which will help raise the funds needed to keep this service-learning tradition alive. You will also be able to pack rice meals for the families who are supported by Civic Concern.

Before or after the supper, you may decide to enjoy the Northville High School production of the Broadway Musical, Cinderella! You’ll be amazed at the talent of these teens! If you have young children or grandchildren, be sure to bring them along. They’ll love it too, and can even have their photo taken with Cinderella afterwards!
